The Park Distance Control (PDC), optional equipment (OE 508), assists the driver when maneuvering in and out of a parking space. The current distance from an obstruction is indicated by acoustic signals and on a visual display.

The distance from an obstruction is measured by four ultrasonic sensors in the rear bumper panel and four additional ultrasonic sensors in the front bumper panel.

Auto PDC
On the G30, Auto PDC is activated automatically if the vehicle is approaching
an object at a speed
below approximately 3 mph (5 km/h) and the object is located in a
collision-critical area. The

Activation and deactivation
The activation and deactivation of the ACC Stop&Go and the Dynamic Cruise
Control are almost the
same. ACC Stop&Go can either be activated while driving or at a standstill. For
safety reasons, when
the vehicle is at a standstill the function can only be put

Concept
The AUTO program cools, ventilates or heats
the car's interior automatically.
The air distribution and temperature are controlled
automatically depending on the temperature
in the car's interior and the desired temperature
setting including the selected intensity of the air
flow.
