General information
Rear entertainment allows occupants in the rear
to access entertainment sources regardless of
the driver's selection. Two screens, different media
connections, and a CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive are
available

General information
As an alternative to the touch screen, rear entertainment
can also be operated with BMW Touch
Command.

Functional principle
If a moving object is detected, which based on the current speed would be in
the area in front of or
behind the vehicle in approximately the next two seconds, a visual and acoustic
warning is issued.
When a Cross Traffic Alert Rear is issued, the LED in the mirror glass is also
switched on. The
Parked-car ventilation
Concept
The car's interior can be cooled or heated before
driving off with the parked-car ventilation. Depending
on set temperature and ambient temperature,
the car's interior is ventilated or possibly
heated using the residual engine heat.
