Due to the exhaust manifold integrated into the cylinder head, the exhaust
manifold and exhaust
turbocharger housing are no longer designed as a single component for the B58TU
engine. This
means that the exhaust turbocharger can be individually replaced. The charging
pressure is still
controlled by an electrical wastegate valve.
The exhaust manifold and exhaust turbocharger housing on the B58TU engine can be
implemented
either as one part or separately. Depending on the engine version, the exhaust
turbocharger can be
replaced individually. The following table shows which variant is used by which
engine.

system is also known as "Dynamic Cruise Control" (DCC). Dynamic Cruise Control (DCC)
supports
the driver on roads with less traffic by keeping the speed constant irrespective
of rolling resistances
